*She blushes again a little; she’s not used to being called darling. She barely notices her reaction, though, too intrigued by the thought of other realms.* Wow…that sounds really cool! It must be a great place.

-He narrows his eyes at her blush, smirking a little- Well it was alright I suppose. Yet it is no longer me home, I was banished.

*Sofia tilts her head slightly, both sympathetic and confused* Banished? Why, what did you do?

Oh just the usual, I tried to destroy a race of monsters and their world. -He shrugged- I only wished to protect the realm I used to call home.

“Wolves?” He questioned again then shook his head. “This realm’s creatures are beyond me.” He said before giving a nod in her direction, before realizing she couldn’t see his actions. A soft sigh escaped his lips before he spoke. “This cafe, is it like a dinning hall?” He asked curiously. “Please, lead the way to this new place.”

“You’ve not even heard of wolves? They’re like dogs, only less friendly,” she told him, chuckling softly. Turning to look in his direction, she nodding a little, “It’s a bit like a dining hall, but it’s a lot smaller, and less…fancy. Follow me, well…Topher.” And with that, she set off again, eager to sit down and talk.

“Interesting.” He said, tapping his chin in thought. “You must tell me more about Midgardian creatures, if you want to that is.” He was wondering how long it would take before his awkwardness would return. He always did have trouble talking with woman, all but sif and his mother anyways. “and this cafe sounds nice awell.”

“I will! Well, as long as you tell me about Asgard. It sounds fascinating, ‘cause it’s new.” Sofie was ecstatic; a new friend and a new universe to learn about. It was a christmas present in the middle of June. Loki seemed kind, or at least, kind to her, and she enjoyed his company, “It is nice, though it’s not gonna compare to all the vast, decorated halls that people feast in.”

“It’s a deal then.” He chuckled as they walked. This was turning out to be a very interesting trip. But he still worried. What if he couldn’t get home? What had become of his brother? He gave a near silent sigh before looking towards her. “Well, Midgard seems to be different from Asgard in many ways then.”

"Excellent! We’ll both learn a lot, then." She knew they were approaching the place; the traffic, though still slow, was more frequent than it was further out, and there was a smell of coffee floating on the air. She slowed slightly, losing her smile, to be replaced with a frown of concern, "Why do you keep sighing, Loki? What are you worried about?"

Loki was about to answer when the creature came walking up. He studied it carefully before looking up at Sofie. “No, I have not. These ‘dogs’ do not exist in Asgard.” He said. This realm surely was curious, the people and creatures were so strange. “A interview such as that sounds fine, lead the way Sofie.”

"They’re like…wolves, but nicer," she replied, turning to head back into town. She was looking forward to discovering a new world, even if it was only through words. She grinned, pausing to listen for Loki, saying aloud, "I know this quiet little cafe thing, does nice hot chocolate and sells cake. We’ll go there."

“Icelandic?” He questioned, head tilting in confusion before he gave a chuckle. “I suppose I have questions for you aswell, about midgard.” He said before getting confused once again by her words. “I’ve never heard of this creature.”

“It’s a language, one of the Germanic ones…stems from Old Norse. When we sit, we’ll have a question and answer thing, right? ‘Cause we’ve both got a lot to learn; I like learning.” Feeling Topher curl himself around her legs she reached down and grabbed his lead, standing straight again and grinning at Loki, “He’s a dog, you’ve heard of them, right?”

“There are many stories.” He said with a small shrug of his own. Loki did feel bad about not noticing her lack of slight, he was supposed to be able to notice these things at a glance. More training was in order he guessed. He gave a small chuckle, “I will try my best to make my actions more noticeable. and who is this Topher of which you speak?”

"We get stories about you lot too, you know…but they tend to be in languages I’m not that great at yet. Like Icelandic." Pulling a small whistle out of her pocket, she blew it for a short moment before putting it back, "Thank you, it’ll help me out. And Topher is my labrador retriever, no doubt hurtling towards us at high speeds as we talk."
